Study abroad ERASMUS

In principle, there is a good possibility for an exchange during the third semester. There, courses at the partner universities can replace electives of the master program hydrology in Freiburg. Following this exchange students can directly start with the master thesis. Hence time for studying is not prolonged.

Erasmus

The Chair of Hydrology currently maintains exchange relations with the following universities:

Universitetet i Oslo, Oslo, Norway
2 places, 6 months each

Universität für Bodenkultur (BOKU) Wien, Wien, Österreich
2 places, 6 months each

Ecole Nationale du Génie de l'Eau et de l'Environment de Strasbourg Strasbourg, France
6 places, 6 months each

Universidad de Malaga, Malaga, Spanien
1 place, 9 months

How do I proceed?

Basically, you should inform yourself about the place of study and the curriculum in the spring semester on the websites of the partner universities. For some partners, English courses take place, otherwise knowledge of the respective national language is required. Since the exchange quota is limited, an early application is advisable.

Please contact apl. Prof. Dr. J. Lange already before the Christmas break of your first semester if you are interested. The application process in then organized by the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources. If your application is successful, J. Lange will discuss with you the study program and the Learning Agreement. Information about the Erasmus program can also be found on the webpage of the Erasmus office of the University of Freiburg.
